It’s that time of the year! Whether you’ve been eyeing some products or want to take advantage of the sale to replenish on your favorites, I hope this post can help make those decisions 🙂 While many creators tend to focus on the newest brand launches, I tend to have a longer list of old favorites. These are products that I’ve gone through at least twice (or thrrrrice) and can truly recommend! So, let’s get started.

The list below is not in any particular order. Some links below are affiliate links which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to shop using those links!

New Beauty Favorites:

Products I’ve tried in 2021 and really enjoy.

Dermaflash Dermapore Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser – For blackhead and whitehead maintenance. I use this with a clay mask- watch my dedicated YouTube review here to see how it works. Available in pink and green.

Youth To The People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant – The Kombucha Toner was my favorite exfoliating toner for a long time but this one tops it off now. It’s a great gentle exfoliating toner that contains AHA, BHA, and PHA (the Kombucha focused on AHA) that you use at night. This one’s absolutely worth grabbing and trying out if you haven’t yet. It leaves my skin feeling soft, glowy, and clean – and for me at least, it’s very obvious when I look in the mirror the next morning.

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Cleanser – A gentle cream cleanser designed for dryness, dullness and uneven texture. Contains proteins and lipids that protects the skin barrier and my skin is immediately more smooth and moisturized after cleansing. I use this as the second part of my double-cleanse and as a morning cleanser.

Gucci Flora Gardenia Perfum – The gorgeous pink and gold packaging immediately caught my eye but it helped that it also smells good! I know fragrance can really vary so take your pick but the scent is sweet and floral. Pay an additional $12 and you can also get this set with a rollerball for your purse.

Olaplex Healthy Hair Essentials – I never tried Olaplex until this year since I’ve bleached my hair and I’ve been taking extra care of it. If you’re new to Olaplex, the 3-4-5 trio is a popular haircare routine for your shower and looks like Sephora has the perfect kit – it consists of a hair treatment (3), shampoo (4), conditioner (5), and my personal favorite a bonding oil (7).

Otherland Clean Blossom Linen Gardenia Vegan Candle – Otherland candles are so luxurious and have a great burn time. This one has a scent that reminds of crisp yet floral and it’s been a delight to light up my house lately as we transition into the colder weather. Also the brand’s entire collection is just so aesthetically pleasing!

Paula’s Choice Cleansing Balm – I’m a huge cleansing balm gal and I’ve tried MANY but this one is unique. It’s a cleansing balm in a tube, which is I think a brilliant idea- no need for a spatula, no need to rub your fingers in the tub, just squeeze. It also did a great job removing waterproof makeup without irritating the eyes so this is one I’ve enjoyed using this year.

Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara – Very impressed with this mascara because I am pretty particular with my mascaras having a sensitive eye. The wand is on the thicker side than I’d prefer but overall, the bristles are soft and the definition is very obvious before and after using it. Not only does it help volumize but it also helps lengthen my eyelashes too, which I can always appreciate! A mini version of this mascara also comes in a 4 piece mini set if you want to try out other products from the brand as well.

Tower28 SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation – Shades for this may run out pretty quickly so get on that waitlist! I personally use the shade Melrose and it’s more of a lightweight bb cream concept with SPF 30. I love how it sticks to my face and improves the appearance of my skin tone and texture. Did not expect much from this product but it definitely over-exceeded all my expectations!

Biossance Squalane + 10% Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum – A gel cream serum designed to retexturize your skin over night. It’s gentle and I notice that my skin feels much smoother the next morning. I’d say this is great for all skin types!

Old Beauty Favorites:

Products that I’ve tried for awhile and still enjoy that are worth the $ after years.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Scrub Shampoo – If you don’t own one of these tubs, just trust me and add this to your cart. After years of trying so many different exfoliating shampoos, this has by far proven to be the most effective at removing dandruff and really cleaning out the scalp. It also feels so refreshing afterwards and you can feel the difference.

NuFace Mini Facial Toning Device – Microcurrent is a whole new world and I’ve definitely had my fair share in this area. Still use it, still love it- Watch my dedicated YouTube review here. I also compare NuFace with FOREO Mini 2 which is a lot smaller in size side by side, and you can find that video here.

FOREO UFO 2 – Watch my dedicated YouTube review here. I love that there is a heated function to this so I can get a sheet mask and a thermal massage in at the same time. The best part is that the whole treatment lasts for 90 seconds, so it’s quick and a huge timesaver instead of having to dedicate a long time in addition to your routine.

Necessaire The Body Exfoliator – I got super excited when Sephora started carrying the brand! I’ve used their body wash for a long time too but if I had to pick one, I would choose the body exfoliator. Specifically, the eucalyptus scent. It’s such an experience to use in the shower – This exfoliating treatment contains glycolic acid, bamboo charcoal, salicylic acid and more to exfoliate and soften the skin. It also foams up so I use it as a body wash!

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum – Cannot tell you how many bottles I’ve emptied over the years. This is my go-to daily serum for firming, antioxidants, and hydrating my skin. The new edition that came out recently also has a brand new packaging where you can actually see the product from the bottom. I also feel like the serum sinks in faster into the skin and has a stronger ginseng scent that always gives me a Korean spa vibe!

Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Serum – Less than $30 for a bottle and is packed with hydration. Another product I’ve used for almost a decade now. I’ve started using it since the 1st generation and this is actually the 4th generation – and it just keeps getting better. If you’re looking for a hydrating serum, this is it.

Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner – My go-to toner when traveling. The climate change, water change, and being on a plane definitely damages my skin when I travel but this toner always keeps my skin in check because it’s so gentle and extremely hydrating. I soak a cotton pad with a toner and leave it on irritated spots to provide soothing relief as well. I always have this full size at home but also have the mini one for when I travel.

Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi – VERY hydrating but not heavy at all. I’ve always wished this moisturizer comes in a bigger size because it comes at a pretty high price point but that’s why I’m recommending you get it during any type of sale! The moisturizer contains peptides and is great for all skin types, especially sensitive skin too!

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil – Comes in two sizes but if you’ve never tried it, the smaller size is more than enough for you to get an idea. It’s such a luxurious hair oil that smells amazing and does not leave your hair greasy. I like to use it on damp hair after my shower and I feel like the fragrance stays on a lot longer! Btw, if you’re concerned about the scent, it’s not overpowering at all.

NARS Orgasm Blush – This is the OG blush for many. I’ve been using more cream blushes over the past few years but this will also be my favorite pressed powder blush. The subtle shimmer always adds a nice glow to the cheeks and I like that the shade looks good on all skin tones – it’s a peachy pink with shimmer. Easy to build if you want a bolder shade.

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm – The Laneige best-selling lip mask in a tube. Another great invention. Using this balm is so much easier when it’s in a tube that you can squeeze outside of the house 🙂 My favorite flavor is Gummy Bear. The Peach was also released earlier this year and is my second favorite!
