It’s the last day of November, and it’s actually now starting to look like fall in Texas. We’re always a bit behind; fall literally lasts for a week or so, and we go straight into winter. Anyways, I’ve had a very eventful, busy, productive month and hope you did too! Today, I’ve rounded up the things I obsessed over this month. Here we go (:

one | Podcast (www & www)

I can probably do an entire post dedicated to just podcasts. I’ve completely switched out my morning and evening commute listening to podcasts over music in November. I’m always trying to learn new things, and the podcast is the perfect way to get a little dosage of all sorts of things; news, music, culture, motivational speakers, religion- I feel like there’s really a podcast for everything. Here are some of my favorites that I actively listen to on a daily basis: How I Built This with Guy Raz, TED Talks Daily, The Daily, Stuff You Should Know, Hidden Brain, Freakonomics Radio, and Serial. two | Probiotic (www & www)

Started really looking into “inner beauty” to feel healthier, have better skin, etc. If you know me, I’m super into skin care and taking care of my face. Well, I realized that doing a lot to your exterior skin only can do so much. It’s really what’s going on inside your body that matters. So one of the first things I went to was probiotics! If you’re not familiar with probiotics, they’re live bacteria that are good and helpful for your health, especially for the digestive system. Besides supplements, you can also consume probiotic-rich foods, yogurt, kefir (fermented dairy products), kombucha, miso, kimchi, etc. I’m a huge health freak, so I do a lot of research and I’m really into anything health-related. It’s only been about a month, so I’m still experimenting but I’ve added it to my daily supplements and I think I like it so far!

three | Eye Shadow (www)

I’ve been super into neutral and toned down colors for the fall/winter time of the year, especially for makeup. I’ve been obsessed with two eyeshadow palettes from NYX (link above)- Color Riot and Explicit. I’ve used Color Riot for mostly daytimes, and Explicit for weekends and nights out! I love experimenting with eyeshadow palettes like these because you can come up with so many combinations.

four | Rooibos Tea (www & www)

I used to drink so much tea when I was in London, but I’ve always been more of a coffee person and still am. However, I’ve tried to lay off on consuming too much coffee for my skin and just to be healthier. Green tea is always my go-to for tea, but I’ve been really obsessed with rooibos tea lately. I’d describe it as a midpoint between white tea and black tea. I’ve also been drinking it cold during my workouts because rooibos tea apparently is good for allergies and eczema, which all apply to me. I also like that it’s caffeine free, so I can drink it anytime during the day!

five | Kindle (www)

My Kindle was one of those spontaneous purchases back in college, and I really haven’t been as committed to it as I should have these past few years. I always prefer a hard copy; it’s one of those ‘just because‘ things. But anyways, I recently brought this Kindle back to life and I’ve carried it around with me everywhere throughout November. Recently started reading IT by Stephen King, and I think Kindle is a perfect tool to substitute long, thick books like IT. It’s also so much easier to take it out of my bag and read while I’m waiting in a long line, waiting for a friend at a coffee shop, etc. I spend more time outside than I do at home, and it’s just been very convenient. I still prefer hard copy books, but I think I can resort to the Kindle for my longer reads!

That’s it for some of the things I wanted to highlight for November that particularly interested me! Heading to Chicago tomorrow to start the last month of 2017.
