Happy Thanksgiving everybody! This is around my favorite time of the year. The temperature drops, leftover fall vibes that are not quite over in Texas yet you see all the Christmas lights on everywhere else, your stomach is constantly full with great, warm food, and everyone is in a better mood overall because the holidays have just begun.
This year has been truly a turning point for me, myself, and I. Every year, I share a couple of things I am thankful for this year- so here it goes!
- I am thankful for my one and only family. I am so grateful that all four of us had another year without health concerns and family troubles. The older I get, I really realize how important family is. Family over friends and everything else at all times. You just never know what’s going to happen and you should never take anything for granted.
- I am thankful for my personal and professional growth this year. This year was probably one of the most difficult year and it was all mental. With the mental stress that came with my professional career, I really grew as an individual in so many ways. Maybe I’ll have an opportunity to share more about this sometime in the future.
- I am thankful for my boyfriend who didn’t let go of me earlier this year despite the tough hurdle we had to jump over. He’s my true best friend when it comes to life and I’m so grateful to have him always be my number one fan no matter what happens.
Keeping it short this year because at the end of the day, you gotta stick with the handful of things that really keep you going each day. Hope everyone has a warm Thanksgiving full of love!
