California Dreaming Part I: What I ate in LA
LA, California – My friends and I had a reunion in LA over the weekend. The City of Angels had perfect weather as usual, and the food was great as always (I miss being near the coast so much!). I didn’t get to capture every single thing, but here are some spots I’ve eaten around the city over the weekend!
Malibu Farm – 23000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, 90265
I was too busy stuffing my face but we also had the coconut carrot cake (BOMB) and the Vegan Peach ice cream (THE BEST), so there’s that 🙂
Amazebowls – 300 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, 90013
These Coconut Acai Bowls from Amazebowls were not only super photogenic but also extremely tasty! I could actually have this every day.
Rock’N Fish – 120 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan Beach, 90266
This spot in front of Manhattan Beach gave generous portions of very fresh seafood! These fish and chips were better than the ones I had in the UK.
Love Coffee Bar – 1732 Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica, 90405
Kang Ho-Dong Baekjeong – 3465 W 6th St, Los Angeles, 90020
Can’t forget to have some good K-Town food in LA! Honestly pretty bummed that the chain will no longer come to Dallas, but this shall do. The 6 of us shared the large beef combo and we walked out pretty full. Another spot we ate in K-Town was Ham Ji Park, and I was so hungry that I didn’t even take a picture. I can always go back for their spareribs any day!
OOmasa – 100 Japanese Village Plaza Mall, Los Angeles, 90012
Dinosaur Coffee – 4334 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, 90029
Sul & Beans – 621 S Western Ave #208, Los Angeles, 90005
Pretty much faux Sulbing, if you know what I mean.
The Ivy – 113 N Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, 90048
