Hey, guys! Today, I’m sharing my quarterly update where I review hyped products that I’ve tested and have enjoyed using in 2020. The Sephora Spring Sale is coming up and we’re all home so… this is the best time to stock up on some beauty products that you may have been eyeing for awhile.
This is not a sponsored post but some links below are affiliate links where I make a small commission if you purchase a product. If you buy anything using my link, I really appreciate you!
Sephora Spring Sale
The Sephora Spring Sale this year is (code: SPRINGSAVE):
- 20% off for Rouge: April 17 – May 1
- 15% off for VIB: April 21 – April 29
- 10% off for Insiders: April 23 – April 27
FYI, I did a Sephora Summer Bonus Sale post from last year so you can check that out to see some products I didn’t mention in this post.
Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb ($48) – The best eye cream I’ve been consistently using. The creamy texture instantly sticks onto the skin, no dripping, stinging the eyes, or mess involved. A great price point for the size.
Briogeo Revive + Repair Power Duo ($70) – This set is a better deal than getting the two tubs individually. There’s also the same set in a mini version for $18 if you don’t feel like committing to full-size products right away. Both products are free of silicones and artificial dyes, and is color-safe. Details on each product below:
- Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo ($42) – So far, my favorite scalp shampoo that I’ve used in 2020. My scalp always feels SO fresh and clean after I use this. I use it every other day and it’s such an experience.
- Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($36) – Smells great but not too overpowering and sooooo nourishing. I have thin hair that always needs some volume, and this hair mask (I use it twice a week) strengthens my hair and always leaves it smooth and bouncy.
Dr. Jart+ Tiger Grass Re. Pair Serum ($46) – If you have rosacea or sensitive/irritated skin, this will be your calming serum. Contains soothing and repairing properties like jartbiome, Centella Rx, Cicabond. The serum also helps with dry skin by strenghthening the skin’s defenses.
Dr. Jart+ Rubber Masks ($12) – $12 is not cheap for a one-time mask so I definitely stock up when I get a chance (Brightening and Firming are my favorites ones). The mask is pre-measured so you really can’t go wrong with it (typically rubber/modeling masks are all about how much water you put in to get the perfect consistency). It also comes off super clean when you peel it off. It’s the most satisfying feeling ever!
Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream ($74) – The only retinol cream that’s given me the same results as my prescription retinol, so it’s pretty powerful. I always see great, consistent results for my breakouts and when my skin’s congested. The price tag may seem hefty but since you only use a pea-sized amount each time, it will last you AWHILE. Trust me when I say it’s worth your investment.
Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer ($399) – If you’re a Rouge, 20% off of this dryer is such a good deal! I was definitely hesitant about getting this dryer and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. Surprise, it is 🙂 Not only does it dry my hair so much faster than others, but it leaves my hair feeling so lightweight, bouncy, and most importantly, gives me lasting volume on my forehead area (a lifelong struggle). Definitely worth to buy during a sale!
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($32) – Sensitive skin folks, listen up. The price point is great for how much you’re getting. It’s a lightweight cream that kind of has a whipped texture and sinks in pretty quickly, providing the skin with the perfect amount of hydration and moisture.
Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Antioxidant Essence ($68) – Comes in a gorgeous glass bottle and helps smooth and protect the skin against pollution and free radicals. The main ingredient is kombucha which is fermented black tea! It gives me major London vibes for some reason and it’s also super hydrating. You can use this to replace your toner step or use it before!
Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser ($34) – A great gentle clean cleanser full of antioxidants suitable for sensitive skin. Contains rosehip seed oil, seaweed extract, and vitamins A + C + E to leave the skin soft, smooth, clean, and nourished.
Lilah B. Aglow Face Mist ($48) – I love a hydrating face mist that doesn’t ruin my makeup, gives me a subtle, healthy-looking glow, is aesthetic, and sprays fine. This mist checks off all the boxes. I definitely wait to stock up on this mist during a sale! There’s a mini size and also a set with both sizes.
Lilah B. Lip and Cheek ($46) – b. Lovely and b. Sassy are my favorite shades! I love me some good multi-purpose product. Super pigmented so it doesn’t even require much for the colors to show up because it’s super pigmented. I just use my fingers to dab the product on my lips and cheeks, and it blends in beautifully with my other makeup products. Also, the iconic pebble design is a VIBE, so… why don’t you have at least one already?
Lilah b. Tinted Lip Oil ($30) – Obsessed. Literally have been wearing it everyday since I got the mini duo and fell in love, so I ordered the b. elegant in full-size. The lip oil is so luxurious and glides on beautifully, softens my lips, and also keeps it moisturized. Have never had dry lips after using this! Definitely on the top of my list for recommendations this year.
NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device ($325) – My latest obsession. Since I’m in my late 20’s, I’ve been focusing more on lifting and preventing fine lines/wrinkles (my goal is to look like I’m 30 when I’m 50, no lie). I currently have the mini but had I known they sold NuFace at Sephora, I would’ve totally waited until the sale to get the Trinity. The only difference between the mini and the Trinity is that while the mini is smaller (obvi) and the heads are stuck, they’re removable on the Trinity. Additionally, you can switch out different heads with the Trinity, like the Eye and Lip Enhancer Attachment. Both devices come with the Gel Primer that you use it with and you can use other serums/gel products with it once you run out. If you’re a Rouge, another great product worth the investment with a good deal!
Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream ($58) – A hydrating moisturizer that contains some of my favorite ingredients- peptides and squalane. It’s fragrance-free, does not clog pores, and keeps my face hydrated all day.
Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser ($36) – A cleanser you can’t go wrong with for any skin type. If you’re sensitive, even better because it’s super gentle. It’s not enough to remove makeup alone so I use it as the second part of my double cleanse but if you don’t wear much makeup, this alone will do the job. It doesn’t strip the skin’s pH level so your skin will remain hydrated after washing your face. I also love the natural, powerful ingredients in this cleanser like kale, spinach, and green tea. Seriously, the name superfood cleanser fits perfectly.
If you’re a Rouge, you should definitely take advantage of the 20% off sale. Feel free to reach out to me on Instagram if you have any questions regarding the products I mentioned 🙂
As always, thank you for reading!
