Can you believe it is the LAST day of 2018? I can’t! How has this year been for you?

Lifestyle Changes

The biggest change for me this year would be my lifestyle. I really decided to cut off people I found toxic in my life. I decided to eat out less (although I definitely can do a better job) on weekdays and sleep early. I literally sleep at 9:30pm-10pm every night. I decided to be more active and go out more and try different workouts so I don’t get sick of trying to be healthy. I decided to eat more fish than meat after meeting with a dietitian who I now see on a monthly basis, and we decided this would be the best for my body and health. I narrowed my niche down on Instagram and my blog to focus more on skincare and travel. With skincare, I’ve gotten multiple collaborations and now receive PR emails almost daily. I brought my dead YouTube channel from my news days back to life and started uploading vlogs (subscribe if you haven’t!). I grew my Instagram following from about 2K to over 5K now. Goal is 10K, so crossing my fingers for next year 🙂

Travel Bug

As you guys know, I’m always seeking an opportunity to travel. As hard as it is to travel when you’re a working adult, I still make the effort to. If not now, when will I? That’s the mentality I have, so I make it work. I visited a several different cities this year and managed to go on four different international trips!

January – Paris (part 1 and part 2)
March – Cancun (part 1 and part 2)
April & May – Denver & Houston
September – New York (part 1 and part 2)
October – Japan and Korea
December – Estes Park

I’m creating my bucket list for 2019, and hopefully I get to visit some new cities next year as well. Can’t wait!

Juggling Life

In one word, I’d say my life has definitely gotten busier. I feel like I always have this word attached to me since college to those around me. I’ve always been the busy one, and “Crystall always has something going on.” This year, however, is a whole different type of busy. I had to balance being a full-time employee while doing all my blog and social media work and now YouTube on the side. Trust me, this is a whole different full-time job! Nevertheless, it’s been a long ride and I’m so thankful for where I am today and all the opportunities that God has provided me.

As we go into 2019, I’m hoping for a happier, better self for the new year. I want to do a better job at providing the audience I have on this blog and on my social media platforms better and creative content- so hope you guys stay with me!

As always, thank you for reading 🙂
